Blessy Sam, MSN, FNP-C is the founder of Blessed Primary Care, dedicated to empowering your health journey by providing high-quality, evidence-based care with compassion. Her clinical areas of interest are preventative health, weight loss, and primary care. She focuses on promoting a healthy lifestyle in conjunction with medical management, allowing patient values to guide healthcare decisions when developing a plan of care.
Education and Professional Background
- Earned the Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Texas at Arlington in 2017.
- Brings clinical expertise as a Nurse Practitioner in Family Practice, Internal Medicine, and multiple Telemedicine companies for the past many years.
- Worked in numerous critical care settings as an RN for almost 20 years before graduating as a nurse practitioner.
- Awarded Excellence in Nursing Research, EBP & Innovation Certificate from Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital in 2014
- Professional memberships: Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing, American Association of Nurse Practitioners, and Texas Nurse Practitioners.
- Languages: English, Malayalam, and Hindi.
- Personal interests: traveling and spending time with family and friends.
